Sustainability Commitment and Promotion
To reinforce the corporate governance mechanism under sustainable business management, Ability has established its “ESG Sustainability Development Promotion Committee”(refers to as ESG Development Committee) in 2022 to serve as the senior leading organization for Ability's sustainable governance tasks. Its purpose is to implement all commitments that Ability made to society, including corporate governance, environmental protection and energy saving, employee care, social participation, and other aspects. The committee also focus on compliance with governmental regulations, improve workplace health and safety, develop green products, minimize environmental effects, and assume environmental and social responsibility.
The ESG Development Committee serves as a cross-departmental communication platform that integrates vertically and horizontally. Through quarterly meetings and the corporate governance promotion team, green sustainability promotion team, and social responsibility promotion team, which are set up based on the three aspects of corporate sustainable development issues, namely "developing green sustainability", "maintaining social responsibility", and "implementing corporate governance", we identify sustainable development issues related to company operations and stakeholders' concerns, formulate corresponding strategies and work guidelines, plan and implement annual plans, and track implementation results to ensure that sustainable development strategies are fully implemented in the company's daily operations.
