Environmental Management
Compliance with environmental regulations and relevant governmental requirements is a cornerstone of promotion to Environmental Management System. We are committed to continuously striving toward the SDGs of “zero pollution” and “zero accidents”. We has established and maintained its Environmental Management System in accordance with ISO 14001 to ensure compliance with environmental laws and related requirements across all operational sites. Each operating location actively promotes the implementation of ISO 14001 initiatives. In 2025, we continue to advance various environmental management programs. In terms of energy and resource conservation, we have replaced aging air-conditioning equipment and installed energy-saving devices to reduce energy consumption. With respect to waste management, we continue to implement waste reduction initiatives and enforce waste segregation to promote the reuse and recycling of recoverable resources. Looking ahead, we will further strengthen energy management, enhance energy efficiency, reduce environmental impacts caused by greenhouse gas emissions, and improve organizational resilience in addressing climate change risks.
The Company adheres to its Environmental Management Policy, which focuses on “energy conservation”, “mitigating global warming”, and “reducing pollution and protecting natural resources”, in pursuit of sustainable environmental operations. Furthermore, we have adopted “greenhouse gas inventory”, “carbon emission reduction”, “green procurement”, and “green production” as key performance indicators for environmental management. These efforts demonstrate our proactive commitment to environmental protection responsibilities and reinforce the core values of sustainable corporate governance.
Water resources management
Water resource management not only enhances economic benefits but also reduces environmental impact and fulfills social responsibility. By effectively managing and minimizing water consumption and pollution, companies demonstrate their commitment to sustainable development and improve their social image. The Company performs an annual inventory of the water consumption of all business locations. The procedures of the each manufacturing site are primarily assembly operations. Water is not required for the procedures. The primary source of wastewater comes from domestic sewage, discharged into the local municipal sewage pipeline system, complying with the wastewater discharge standards in the area and having minor effects on the environment.
Ability Enterprise promotes treasuring water resources, promoting water conservation, scientific water use, and the protection of water resources. Under the current water resource conditions, water conservation shall be the fundamental principle. Adopting the following measures to avoid unnecessary water resource waste so as to duly fulfill social responsibility, protect the environment on Earth, improve corporate value, and continue to make efforts to protect the environment and resources.
Waste management
Wastes of the Company may be classified as non-hazardous wastes (household garbage, recyclable waste, and general business waste) and hazardous waste (mixed hardware waste (i.e., electronic waste)). To reduce the generation of waste, the Company reduces the use of disposable items as much as practicable in its daily operations and implements garbage classification and recycling to allow resources to be reused for circular economic benefits. Regarding product designs, the Company avoids excessive packaging, adopts green materials and green production, and continues to reduce, recycles and de-harms waste for the purpose of minimizing harm to the environment. The Company has promised to promote product green designs and waste management measures to minimize the generation of waste and improve the circulation and reuse of sustainable resources so as to achieve the target of effective management and waste reduction

All industrial waste generated by our company's operating sites is handled by contractors licensed by the competent authorities. Waste is first temporarily stored on-site before being transferred to the licensed contractors for disposal. During the transportation of hazardous waste, irregular inspections are conducted to ensure that the hazardous waste is not discarded indiscriminately, thereby preventing environmental contamination. Since its inception, there was no waste leakage or pollution, and the processing method of all wastes complied with laws and regulations.
Hazardous Substance Management
Regarding hazardous substance management, we primarily adopt raw material source management, procedure management, and product testing for management.
- Raw material source management: Ability compiles information from domestic and international regulations such as RoHS, Prop 65, JAMP, and China RoHS, as well as customer requirements and limits for hazardous substances (also known as environmentally controlled substances), to develop and regularly review and revise its environmentally controlled substance management standards. Based on these standards, Ability manages the source of hazardous substances in raw materials. During the raw material approval process, Ability uses supplier-provided material testing reports from a third-party certified chemical laboratory. Dedicated personnel then review and confirm that the raw materials contain no hazardous substances or that their content meets Ability's standard limits. As a result, Ability's raw materials are 100% compliant with hazardous substance management. For some environmentally controlled substances (such as polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs), hexabromocyclododecane (HBCDD), and bisphenol-A), Ability implements hazardous substance control at the source by signing a non-use guarantee. If the customer specifies otherwise, Ability will conduct testing or sign a non-use guarantee in accordance with the customer's requirements.
- Procedure management: Ability Enterprise carries out effective internal procedure management activities to reduce the negative impacts on product quality and safety. Material recognition shall be completed for each raw material before its intake. Data required to be provided by suppliers for material recognition, including material ingredient lists and testing reports of chemical laboratories recognized by a third-party certification institution, shall be uploaded to the green product management platform for the green product personnel of Ability Enterprise to review. Upon material intake, raw materials are classified as high/middle/low risks by materials and the XRF test is performed based on the test frequency (three months/six months/twelve months) based on the different levels of risk to carry out sampling tests which ensure hazardous substance content in raw materials is within the limit.
- Product test: Green products produced by Ability Enterprise are delivered to chemical laboratories recognized by a third-party certification institution for FATP to ensure that products comply with customers’ requirements or the regulations of the country of sales.
