VSBLTY, RADARApp, and Partners Deploy AI-Driven Cameras for Public Safety

VSBLTY Groupe Technologies Corp., a leading provider of security and retail analytics software, and RADARApp, a smart city solutions provider, have announced the deployment of the world’s first WiFi6-based surveillance network in Benito Juarez, a borough of Mexico City.

Working with Ability Enterprise Co., Ltd. and Sky Packets, intelligent edge AI cameras are being installed in public areas to deliver detailed, real-time analytics to local law enforcement. Sky Packets, a New York-based leader in WiFi Mesh networks and smart city applications, also plays a key role in the infrastructure.

Real-Time Intelligence from the Edge

Smart Cameras Provide Actionable Data

The network provides real-time insights including:

  • Vehicle measurement and classification
  • Pedestrian and bicycle tracking
  • Traffic flow and dwell time analysis
  • Immediate license plate recognition

The intelligence inference logic is processed on Ability Enterprise’s edge cameras, and in some scenarios, across both local computing devices and the cameras themselves.

The infrastructure also features:

  • Outdoor-mounted smart cameras
  • High-intensity lighting
  • Motion sensors
  • Audible alarms
  • Crowd behavior analysis and real-time alerts for police response

Smart City Transformation in Action

Mayor Embraces Tech-Driven Policing

Mayor Santiago Taboada Cortina, praised as a “Modern Mayor,” leads the digital transformation in Benito Juarez. Frustrated with traditional solutions, he found the integrated VSBLTY-RADARApp solution to be effective in raising public safety standards.

“Migrating to a fully digital infrastructure in Benito Juarez has provided immense possibilities,” said the Mayor. “The RADARApp network is providing even more valuable data than we imagined, helping us shift from reactive to proactive crime prevention strategies. Our residents are now safer.”

Scalable, Collaborative, and Secure

Partner CEOs Share Their Vision

Jay Hutton, CEO of VSBLTY, stated:

“We’re honored to work with cutting-edge partners to build a scalable WiFi-based network capable of real-time smart city analytics. This model sets a new benchmark in collaborative security.”

Rodrigo Calderon, CEO of RADARApp, added:

“This deployment delivers high-performance, low-cost surveillance with real-time dashboards and mobile alerts for residents and police. It’s a breakthrough in how neighborhoods manage public safety.”

AI Technology Behind the System

VisionCaptor, DataCaptor, and Vector

VSBLTY’s software stack includes:

  • VisionCaptor and DataCaptor for interactive displays, analytics, and audience measurement
  • Vector, an AI-driven engine providing advanced facial recognition, weapon detection, and behavior tracking in crowds

These capabilities make the system a vital tool for both retail and public security applications in the smart city era.
