In March, as cherry blossoms bloom across Japan, Ability Enterprise celebrated its 60th anniversary by unveiling a cherry blossom wishing wall, inviting employees and senior leaders to join in a collective wish-making ceremony. ABILITY Enterprise’s annual year-end gala, themed “ABILITY 3.0｜Celebrating 60 Years of Brilliance”, concluded on a high note with a vibrant evening of festivities. The event featured interactive booths, gourmet dining, lucky draw prizes, and captivating performances — creating memorable moments for employees and their families alike.

Ability Enterprise, a leading AI camera ODM/OEM in Taiwan, has partnered with Japanese firms to launch a next-gen multi-camera AI dashcam system in Japan. Featuring ADAS, DMS, 360° view, and cloud connectivity, the system enhances driving safety and enables real-time data for fleet management. This marks a key step in applying AI to improve road safety and driving behavior.

Ability launches a new generation ANPR-ready camera with lower power consumption and enhanced computing power. Featuring an 8MP CMOS sensor, 10x auto-focus zoom lens, and advanced AI capabilities, the camera is IP66/IP67 and IK10 rated. It supports local recording and multiple streaming protocols. Ability offers both standard and customized ODM/OEM services, providing cost-effective edge AI solutions for the smart surveillance market.

Ability Enterprise and Vietnam’s leading distributor BrandPC have partnered since early 2023 to introduce advanced edge AI cameras and solutions. Featuring a range of Intel-based high-performance cameras supporting rapid AI model deployment and extensive customization, the collaboration targets Vietnam’s smart surveillance and vertical markets. Together, they aim to deliver top-tier intelligent edge AI imaging solutions to empower customers and seize market opportunities.

Ability Enterprise announced the integration of Allxon’s OTA services into its edge AI camera portfolio. Already deployed in Asia, the solution enables scalable, remote management and is set to expand to Europe and the U.S. markets.

Tier IV and Ability Enterprise have signed an MOU to co-develop and sell high-performance in-vehicle cameras for autonomous driving. These cameras, based on open-source Autoware, aim to support safer mobility and be available for commercial use starting 2022.

Taiwan’s Ability Enterprise has partnered with Malaysia’s LED Vision to deploy Clear-Sight edge AI cameras integrated with LED Vision’s Advan CTi platform for smart city traffic management. The system collects real-time traffic data to optimize signal timing and reduce congestion. Implemented in three phases with local authorities and UTeM university, the project improved travel times by 33.5% on average. LED Vision praised Ability’s high-quality cameras and SDK, which enabled smooth AI integration for smarter traffic control.

Ability Enterprise is driving innovation in edge AI camera technology, offering high-performance OEM/ODM solutions for smart cities, traffic, retail, and healthcare. Its AI cameras, powered by Intel Myriad X and OpenVINO, support OTA updates and AI-as-a-Service models. With deployments in Mexico, Malaysia, and Taiwan, these robust cameras deliver real-time analytics and adaptability in demanding environments. Ability’s NDAA compliance and Microsoft AEDP partnership further strengthen its global reach.
